Partner with the Tuberous Sclerosis Association to diversify their community

Every month, approximately 10 babies in the UK are born with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC), a rare genetic condition causing growths on the brain, eyes, heart, kidneys, skin, and lungs. These growths can lead to epilepsy, learning disabilities, behavioral problems (including hyperactivity and autism), skin abnormalities, chronic kidney disease, and breathing difficulties.

The Tuberous Sclerosis Association (TSA), the UK’s only dedicated TSC charity, aims to conquer this devastating disease through community engagement, support, and research funding.

In 2025, TSA seeks a pro bono agency partner to diversify its predominantly White, middle-class community. While TSC affects all equally, TSA aims to better reach Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) and LGBTQ+ individuals and families, as well as those from diverse socioeconomic and geographical backgrounds. This partnership will focus on addressing stigma and cultural barriers to engagement.

Working directly with one of the CEOs, this project offers agencies the opportunity to shape its direction from the outset. TSA offer experience in NHS partnerships and a deep understanding of the patient experience. Campaign delivery could include community outreach, targeted social media, and partnerships with community organisations.
